  • Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drug MisuseLearn how alcohol, tobacco, and other substance misuse affects the health and wellness of people living in New Hampshire, and the resources that are available if you or someone you know needs help to stop using one or more of these substances.

  • The Doorway The Doorway is a set of nine access points for people seeking help for substance use, including treatment, support, or resources for prevention and awareness. To find access at any time of day or night, dial 211.
  • Family Centered Early Supports and Services (FCESS) FCESS is NH’s Early Intervention System. Early Intervention serves children birth up to three who have a developmental delay, an established condition or are at substantial risk for a developmental delay. The goal of FCESS is to support families in helping their children grow and develop, and helping a family achieve their own family goals.
  • Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility is an accredited specialty hospital that serves the acute psychiatric and substance related disorder needs of children, adolescents, and young adults in New Hampshire. The hospital offers short-term intensive treatment for youth who are in significant distress due to a concerning mental health episode.

  • New Hampshire Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors Association (NHADACA) NHADACA provides a comprehensive set of trainings for professionals, paraprofessionals, and peer supporters serving individuals with substance use disorders.  Trainings are aligned with state credentialing and licensing requirements.
