One of the goals of the Children’s Behavioral Health Resource Center is to link providers to training and support so that they can provide evidence-based practices whenever possible. Providers include organizations and individuals who have state contracts to deliver certain services, as well as private practitioners who work in a variety of settings. This page includes a variety of upcoming trainings, courses, and other valuable resources to help providers give the best care to the communities they serve.

Technical Assistance
Technical Assistance (TA) is routinely included as part of a training package for agencies, teams, supervisors, and individual practitioners who are standing up an Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). TA or “coaching” at the practitioner level is designed to ensure that the individual who has been trained applies the skills and protocols in their practice. TA can include individual or group skill building exercises, observation (live or via videotaped sessions with clients), structured feedback, data reviews, and individualized instruction. Most EBPs require this type of TA and coaching engagement to attain fluency and to become endorsed as a qualified practitioner for that intervention or treatment. Learn More
