In Child and Family Systems, participants will learn how substance misuse impacts family members, including issues of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, access to care, and other cultural differences. The program includes exposure to child development models including typical child development, developmental trauma disorder, generational impacts, and family systems therapy. Trainees will also learn about cultural differences, language access, and trauma-based care.

This is an 8-week, online course in a self-paced, asynchronous format.
